The holiday season just CALLS for a nice cozy night in either for some self care or for a date night. You know when you’re snuggled up on the couch with your 10 pillows and blankets with a glass of wine? Perfection!
Except this guide just adds some fitness flare so you can still make it to your workout tomorrow morning without feeling super bloated or groggy! Here are the 4 steps to a happy and healthy cozy night in:
1. Set Up The Mood
Coziness comes from that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you are engulfed in a huge blanket. So light your favorite holiday candle (I’ve been loving “vanilla snowflake” from B&BW), grab your warmest fuzziest blanket, and get cuddled up with your partner, girl friends, or even your little pup!
2. Prep or Order Your Comfort Meal
Ok, this is my favorite step- the food! So I’m sharing my top cozy meals that are so simple and quick.
Or if you do want to order out- my healthy pizza hack: Dominoes pizza regular crust with red sauce, cheese, veggies (I get tomatoes, bell peppers, spinach, artichoke, black olives) and double chicken.
3. Movie
I don’t know about you, but I love either a horror thriller movie or a rom com. I don’t mind a good Christmas movie either though :).
So turn on that Netflix and try to avoid scrolling for hours haha!
4. Sweet Treat
So for that sweet treat, I usually try to pick one: wine, hot chocolate, or dessert. This just depends on my mood!

Wine: Saracco Moscato
Hot Chocolate: Silly Cow Farms
Dessert: chocolate cake slice from HEB or Nada Moo’s mint chocolate chip ice cream
